There are many thoughts and feelings that I felt last week when I had the great pleasure of hearing Gloria Steinem speak at my friend Jamie’s house. I felt the courage of women throughout the ages. I felt the strength of a woman who has seen and done many things and helped many women. And I felt the love of all women, embracing all women, crossing party lines and feeling a spirit of great hope. I heard the call of women everywhere to protect our hard-earned freedoms and continue our journey towards a more just world for all people. Thank you for sharing your words with us, Ms. Steinem. I hope to never forget this day.
