A long time ago it was determined that my husband was the photographer in the family. He always has camera duty when we travel or attend an event. Afterward I am given the camera to download the photos. I have a simple process where the importing is done directly into Picasa and then my job is done.
Well, last month I entered one of Chris’ shots from our summer trip to Mexico into the Greeblepix contest. He didn’t win, which I wasn’t really anticipating him to, but I was curious as to what the Greeblemonkey herself thought of the photo. We happened to be out for beers one afternoon and I slipped it into the conversation. She thought it was good but that a little bit of editing would have made it better. We talked about editing and she gave me some pointers. I explained that I did everything in Picasa and since she is sooooooooo amazing she did some Picasa research and emailed me some more pointers.
So I spent a good chunk of an afternoon going through the photos from the trip my hubby took to Paris last summer and played around with Picasa. Now I can’t put a photo in there without editing it!
